Penelope Purchase '26 is a recent graduate of Berkeley High School in Berkeley, California, where she was an investigative editor for the Berkeley High Jacket newspaper. In the fall of 2026, she will begin her first year at Boston University as a journalism major. Her work can be found in the Berkeley High Jacket, the SUNN Post, and Berkeleyside. She has also participated in panels alongside Dashka Slater, Maggie Tokuda-Hall, and KQED journalists Alexis Madrigal and Sasha Khokha.
