Michael Carroll is a recent graduate of Vanderbilt University, where she double majored in English and Engineering Science. She previously served as an editor and writer for the Life section of The Vanderbilt Hustler and currently works as a journalism intern with Fort Nash Media while freelancing on stories spanning technology, arts and culture. Michael received Vanderbilt’s Merrill Moore Prize for Nonfiction and hopes to continue building a career at the intersection of journalism, storytelling and music. Based in Nashville, she spends her time exploring the city’s live music scene, discovering new coffee shops and chasing the next story worth telling.
